Getting to know us

School grounds

At BNWPS, our expansive 10-acre grounds are a place of social development, imagination and play, including some measured risk.

Our students enjoy daily access to our playgrounds, productive garden, oval and woodlands where we encourage our students to safely play with sticks and rocks.

Cubby building is by far the most popular playground activity for our younger students and it is a real joy to see children work in groups for a common goal and regularly practise their communication and problem- solving skills.

During special lessons and events, students have supervised access to our new orchard and Yakai Barring, our native bush reserve.
